We worked with Emma and Satin & Slate to upgrade a bedroom and design/build a bathroom. We could not have been more happy with Emma and her team. Satin & Slate did a top notch job and operates like a much larger firm. The professionalism and attention to detail were second to none. Emma was at the worksite regularly to make sure that her design was coming to life and everything was going in as planned. Even when things happened and we had to pivot (through no fault of Satin & Silk) Emma made the process seamless. We are very happy with our new addition and we could not have done it without Emma and her team. We highly recommend Emma and Satin & Slate!

I recently completed a two-bathroom remodel with Builder Boy and was connected with Emma (she’s the best!!) at Satin and Slate for the design. Emma has been extremely helpful (even helpful with questions construction related that are outside of the design process). She made the selection of materials so easy, as you know this can be an overwhelming task…

Emma and her team are amazing! I love my new kitchen and laundry room. Emma heard my vision and helped me make it a reality. I can’t even express in words how I love the collaboration with Emma from Satin and Slate in renovating my tiny condo.

I have never worked with an interior designer, and am so happy that I found Emma! I was sooooo nervous, not only to spend the money, but for someone to not understand my style. I am not creative and didn’t want to spend the time looking for pieces or going online and getting decorating ideas. This is where i relied on Emma and her expertise.

With working more from home, I needed to update my living room (and added the bedroom since it was so bland) and create an office space. I just had too much chachi stuff all over the place that I didn’t want to part with (memories haha), and needed someone to work with pieces I love, but create an funky “adult” living space.

I love the color theme that Emma suggested for me, even though I was resistant at first, but I LOVE LOVE IT!!! I wanted a living room area where I can have a space to have people sit around and also not bock my view of downtown LB. Emma was patient, good listener and really understood the vibe I was trying to create. She provided samples, pictures and was always available – i love exceptional customer service.

Working with Emma at Satin and Slate was such a pleasure! Her interior design skills are top-notch, and she really helped me transform one of my bedrooms into a stunning den that can still double as a bedroom if needed.

Emma was so attentive and really took the time to listen to all of my concerns and preferences. She understood my budget and worked within it, which was a huge relief. Communication was also a breeze with Emma. She kept me updated throughout the entire process, making everything run smoothly and effortlessly.

Our General Contractor, Builder Boy, referred us to Satin & Slate. We worked with Thomas and his team (primarily Vanessa) as part of our Kitchen Remodeling project. They have achieved the look we were aiming for and more! It has now been about a year since moving into our home and newly renovated kitchen, and Now, we are kicking ourselves for not doing a WHOLE HOUSE design with Satin & Slate (even though we are not planning on remodeling the whole house just yet).

In short, as long as you know what style/look/feel you are trying to achieve, Thomas and his team will help bring your vision to life! Just be patient, communicative, and decisive. Would love to work with Satin & Slate again for the rest of our house. 2/2/21

Throughout our project, we worked with several contractors and designers. Thomas at Satin and Slate was truly a star above all. He was so easy to work with, really listened to what we asked for and delivered speedy and top notch custom, one of a kind designs. He pulled out all the stops and went above and beyond for us. I was ready to redo my bathroom but did not know where to start. I contacted Satin and Slate Interiors for help, and I have to say the result is amazing. They helped not only with the design but also with all the finishes, things I did not know I needed.
